After being the sales and marketing director at a large publishing house in South Africa Tracey McDonald decided to leave the company after 11 years.
Says Tracey: ‘Although I enjoyed my time in the corporate publishing world, it felt like I had read the same book for ages and it was time to find a new one to read.’
And so Tracey McDonald Publishers was born – an indie-publishing company that only publishes quality books written by people from Africa, and focuses mainly on non-fiction (although fiction will not be overlooked).
Jonathan Ball Publishers, one of the biggest publishing houses in South Africa, is the distributor of the Tracey McDonald Publishers list.
